General meeting.

Logan Beaudesert Country Music Club general meeting.  April 21st Beenleigh RSL 7.30pm Hope you can make this meeting. It will be in the dining room at the Beenleigh RSL (Mt Warren Park). Some of us will be having a meal at the RSL before hand. All welcome In addition to normal business we will be discussing · The upcoming Country Music Festival at Logan Village 14 August · Arrangements for backing performers at our monthly socials · Conduct/protocol at other clubs when we are the guest club Pls advise if there are any other matters you feel that need to be discussed

Feb Social
	This was our last social to be held at the Jimboomba Tavern. We had a great day with faces we had not seen for a while entertaining us including 4 ex presidents. After the last performer we held a brief meeting to consider the proposal to :- Hold future socials at the Logan Village RSL on the fouth Saturday of each month commencing 28th March 2009

March Social

This was our first get together at the Logan Village RSL. I was personnally unable to make it but there was a great turn out with the RSL being packed both inside and out. Our friends from Twin Rivers were the guest club and I am sure they put on a great show as usual. I think the kitchen was taken by surprise with the numbers and we have passed on comments about delays etc with the meals to The RSL management.

Anzac Day. WOW !! What better way to commemorate what the sacrifices of the past have given us. There was huge crowd at the RSL on arrival. With the Two Up in full swing and Bagpipes playing while we set up we knew it was going to be a great night. With new and old faces getting into the spirit of the day we quickly got the music going playing to a noisy but friendly crowd. A top night was had by all including our audience if only it was like that every month.
